Based on your experience, can men and women ever just be friends?

I think so.  We have to understand that we are both human beings and in our genes what to reproduce.  There is always that issue of being physically attractive to a person and not concentrating on other qualities.  We just have to be aware that we have a choice to be platonic about our feelings.  It's hard to be friends with someone that is attractive b/c you are natually inclined to want more and spread your oats and what not.  If you can't look past the physical attributes then there is no way you can be "just friends".  You will always have that linger for wanting to be more than just friends, then you will go into Urkel syndrome of "wearing them down".  I'd say reevaluate yourself first of what you expect from yourself and from others. Be trueful and honest with yourself, so when you engage with the opposite, both of you will know how to act and behave with one another.  When that is said and done then you can tolerate anybody and just accept them as a companion and enjoy their company.  My opinion.

I just answered this Featured Question, you can answer it too!

Don't blame people you know for what you can't control.
Glaring, yapping, rapping, laughing louder than you should.
Just a waste of energy to transfer such intent on people you want to take your responsibility for your own emotions.  If they are not true; why get worked up?  To make them feel guilty and ashamed.  If you think that works on the folks you hang out with.  1. You have pretty third minded dumb friends that fall into stupid tactics.  2. Your so insecure you need to be the princess of attention with your friends.
Please don't be offended if you know it's not true.  Opinions are the rights of everyone.  Don't be a tyrant and think you can dictate everyones rights to think. Save us the asparagus b/c there is only so much we can take.  Don't dwindle on the fall out of your own misfortunes. People will take the blame; your lousy friends. and hopefully someday they will be brave enough to cut you off to wrestle in your own mud of muck like the pig that you are. Oink Oink!! I need more I need more attention.
